Information for Authors
PDU3 aims to be an inclusive event showcasing our vibrant and diverse community. As such, we actively encourage speakers from a variety of backgrounds, disciplines, and levels of experience. Please use the Word template to write your abstract, omit references and images, and submit using the form below. Abstracts will be published both in the programme volume and as part of the Special Issue of Alcheringa. Abstract formatting should follow Alcheringa style, as per that journal’s Instructions to authors.
All authors wishing to submit to their abstracts to a conference symposium can indicate this on the submission form. Note that if not accepted for the selected symposium, an author can elect for their abstract to be considered in the general sessions instead.
Although PDU3 is a hybrid conference, in person oral and poster presenters are preferred. Provisions will be made for exceptional circumstances.
Please contact the conference organisers for any questions regarding the abstract or presentation processes. We also encourage those presenters who require aids to contact the conference organisers early to ensure requests can be accommodated.
Submit a manuscript to the Alcheringa Special issue
We are pleased to advise that a special issue of Alcheringa, the journal of the AAP, will be produced for PDU3. Authors who wish to contribute papers to this special issue are requested to submit their manuscripts via the journal website. When submitting, please indicate the manuscript's submission for the Special Issue (Thematic Issue) and write ‘PDU3 Proceedings’ in the associated text box.
